The "Tank Louis," which has been historically and is still popular, launched the Must Tank for the general public.
Early, rare Must Tanks were called Pre-Must Tanks, and this particular one is a Pre-Must Tank for the European market, produced in even smaller quantities.
With its early cannonball crown, it has an exceptionally good atmosphere.
The European specification has a basic construction almost identical to the Tank Louis, with the main differences being that the case is vermeil instead of 18k gold, and the dial's lettering is in cursive rather than block letters.
Because of this, it has a popular design that doesn't immediately look like a Louis, but it's quite a rare item.
With Louis models soaring in price, this is a highly recommended piece.
This item boasts high originality from its era, with its case retaining its original plating and a very clean, crack-free dial.
Although it is a crack-free item in very good condition, it is being offered at a reduced price due to some scratches and dents on parts of the case.
As for its condition, there are signs of use, but the case has minimal dents, and despite some signs of use, the original plating remains firmly intact.
To preserve the original plating, it has not been polished extensively. There are scratches overall, but I believe the condition is good. (There are scratches overall, but they have been left as is. They can be removed to some extent with polishing, but this is not recommended as it thins the plating, although it is possible to remove them.)
While there are some dents, the overall condition is good.
The case back also has small scratches, but the plating remains solid, and the serial number is intact. Dents and some hairline scratches can be seen on the case back, but to maintain its originality, it has not been re-plated or altered. (The plating remains.)
Both the hands and glass are clean, and for a Pre-Must, it is considered to be in very clean condition. The hands are blue, just like the Louis.
The dial is essentially crack-free and has no scratches. Some minor dirt or similar can be seen in parts, but not to a noticeable level. Discoloration is also very minimal.
Aside from some dirt, the overall condition is considered quite good.
The buckle is an original GP.
