Cartier Ronde 1970 Manual Wind

This is a 1970s Cartier Ronde Louis. It features an exceptionally simple dial with bar indices, an uncommon design for Cartier. This rare Ronde model symbolizes Cartier’s history. It offers a different kind of appeal from the Tank models. The dial is silver with a lacquered finish, and the hands are gold. The words “swiss made” appear at 6 o’clock. (Based on the lettering style and other details, we believe the swiss made marking is original to the period.) The font of the Serial Number indicates that this is a 1970s Cartier. This model is eligible for restoration service at Cartier’s headquarters in France. The service respects the original condition of the watch, restoring it as much as possible without replacing the dial, movement, or other original components.
