Rare Cartier Tank Louis XL Jumbo Automatic AT 18K D-Buckle

This is a rare automatic winding model among the Louis Cartier collection, known as Jumbo or XL.
The Ref. 17002 we are introducing this time, as its name Jumbo suggests, is one size larger than the LM model's 24mm.
There are roughly two types of automatic winding Jumbo models, and this one is the largest size at 28mm.
As a characteristic feature, the case back is bulging to accommodate the thick movement with a rotor, making the thick case very distinctive.
The size is quite similar to the current Tank Louis automatic winding large model, so please use it as a reference.
This 17002 is not widely available, and many people are probably looking for it.
This is a Swiss-made dial that was replaced during a complete service.
After replacement, it is designed to be less prone to cracking, so it is recommended for daily use.
The case condition is generally very good, with few major dents or scratches.
There is no thinning of the case or rounding of the shape. The gold engraving on the side also remains.
The glass is original and has some minor scratches, but is generally in beautiful condition.
The dial is also clean and in very beautiful condition with no cracks at all.
The hands are also very clean, and the overall condition is quite good for this piece.
The buckle is an original Cartier 18k D-buckle from that period.
The band is our custom-made band.
