Gerald Genta Square Openwork Manual Winding

SOLD OUT

Gérald Genta, the designer of the highly popular Nautilus and Royal Oak, is a name known to all watch enthusiasts, referred to as the "Picasso of the watch world," who left his mark on the watch industry with numerous masterpieces. This is an original brand by Gérald Genta himself.

This is an early production model, featuring an exhibition case back and manual winding, which is rare for Gérald Genta.
Unlike a mere exhibition case back, the movement's skeletonization and decoration are exquisite, giving the impression of a special model.
While it is an orthodox manual-winding type, Genta's characteristic octagon design and the beauty of the exhibition case back shine through.

A great deal of effort was put into it, and gold material was used generously, with the weight of the gold alone being quite substantial.
With Genta's unique octagon case and the special nature of the exhibition case back, it is a very rare and interesting piece.

The condition of the case shows no major dents or dings, and it has largely been kept unpolished.
The original feel is preserved, as it initially had few scratches.
The dial and the movement visible through the exhibition case back are also in very clean condition.
The buckle is Genta's original K18 buckle.

The glass, dial, and hands are also in very good condition with almost no scratches or dirt.
Overall, it is in excellent condition.
