This is the classic Tank Louis Cartier from the Tank series, reference number 78086.
Its value has continued to rise in recent years, with the manual-winding LM models from around 1970 becoming particularly rare and valuable.
This specific model is a WG (white gold) with a PARIS dial, which is rarely found on the market.
Furthermore, it's an exceptionally rare piece because the PARIS dial has absolutely no cracks.
Around 1970, WG production was very limited, making these models highly rare collector's items even today.
Among the Louis Cartier collections of the 1970s, this is a manual-winding LM in good condition, which is scarce.
It's a highly valuable and rare item, featuring a men's size LM, manual winding, WG, the original PARIS dial from that era, and absolutely no cracks.
It's quite rare to find a piece in such excellent condition, making it a good candidate for a collection.
The condition is generally good, with minor scratches but no major dents or damage.
There is no thinning of the case or rounding of its shape. The gold engraving on the side also remains.
The glass is also in beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches.
Despite minor scratches, the rhodium layer remains intact and beautiful.
The dial is clean and has no cracks. Most PARIS dials have at least some cracks, but this one miraculously has none.
