The Calatrava, a symbol of the brand, is the pinnacle of dress watches, a classic and a rare presence that continues to reign as an object of desire. This Ref. 3569 is a rather unique model even among Calatrava watches. It features a 35mm case and is equipped with the rare automatic movement Cal. 350, which uses a peripheral rotor. The crown is set on the back to achieve symmetry. The case features beautiful engraving, and the dial also has a stunning radial pattern, giving it a very three-dimensional construction. Furthermore, because the crown is on the back, it can be worn comfortably on either the left or right wrist. Although it is a rather minor model, when considering the Cal. 350 movement, the construction of the case, the finish of the dial, and the movement itself, it is, as expected, of very high quality. Because it is a minor model, it is likely a very cost-effective watch. The condition of the case is quite clean, with only minor scratches visible upon close inspection. The edges are also very clean, suggesting that it has hardly been polished. It was in a very clean finished condition when acquired, so it remains unpolished. Both the hands and glass are clean with almost no dirt or scratches. Only a very small blemish can be seen near the 4 o'clock position on the dial, but it is barely noticeable; otherwise, the condition is very clean. The case back also has only very light minor scratches, but these have been left as is to preserve its original condition. The buckle is genuine 18k.
