Vintage Parmigiani Fleurier Toric 40mm 18K White Gold Early Model

This is an early Parmigiani Fleurier Toric WG 40mm from the prestigious manufacture brand.
Parmigiani is known for the Tonda and Toric, and this is a 40mm Toric from the brand’s early period, when its watches received the highest level of craftsmanship.
Early Parmigiani Toric models have recently attracted considerable attention. Although the Toric remains in the current collection, its construction does not reach the level of the early models, which are overwhelmingly more sought after.
At 40mm, it is slightly large, but its proportions make it suitable for everyday wear, much like a contemporary watch.
Production and distribution numbers were not especially high, making this a rare model.
In addition, the rare D Deployant Buckle type is scarcely seen on the market, making it particularly collectible.
The beautiful case construction and elegant lugs characteristic of Parmigiani were arguably at their peak during this period.

The WG case has fine scratches, but no dents or major marks are apparent, and it remains exceptionally clean.
The rhodium layer is also firmly intact.
The crystal is clean on both sides and appears to have virtually no scratches.
The dial and hands are both in very clean condition, with only a small amount of dirt.
The Buckle is an original Parmigiani 18k WG Deployant Buckle.
The original crocodile Strap is fitted and shows some signs of use.
The Buckle has some minor surface wear but remains exceptionally clean.
It features a distinctive construction in which the strap is passed through the buckle holes and secured with a screw. Adjustment is somewhat difficult, but it provides secure fastening. It is an unusual design.
