Vintage Cartier, Authentically Yours
Cartier Santos Galbée LM Godron Stainless Steel Automatic
This is an automatic Cartier “Santos Galbée” Ref. 2960, produced from the 1970s through the 1980s. It features a godron bracelet made only on early examples. Among these, the SS silver models were produced in extremely limited numbers and are rarely seen on the market.
The bracelet is also in exceptionally good condition. It is quite rare to find a godron Santos in Stainless Steel with links this tightly fitted. This is a particularly valuable feature.
The center joints of the bracelet feature dimensional detailing, creating a design evocative of luxury sports watches that is rarely seen today. The Case Size is 29mm, a men’s size for its era that offers a well-balanced look, making it easy to wear as both a watch and a fashion accessory. With a date display and seconds hand, this Cartier collection is also well suited to everyday wear.

CONDITION
The case, bracelet, and dial are all in excellent condition. The dial is the original SWISS Dial from the period. It has faint cracks visible only upon close inspection, but overall it remains in exceptionally clean condition.
The case and face show only minor marks consistent with their age, with no major dents, and the crystal has almost no scratches. The bracelet has minimal sagging and is in exceptionally good condition.
The exterior has received only light polishing, with minor marks intentionally retained to preserve its character from the period.
At our store, we inspect each timepiece individually and select them with particular emphasis on their condition as watches.
