Vintage Cartier, Authentically Yours
Cartier Santos Octagon LM Automatic Stainless Steel
The Cartier Santos Octagon is a discontinued model distinguished by its octagonal case design, which adds defined angles to a rounded form. This automatic watch pairs a white dial with a Stainless Steel case and bracelet.
Although designated as the LM size, the 29mm case offers balanced proportions that sit comfortably on the wrist. Its versatile design works well with casual outfits, and the size can also be worn by women.
The model has received increasing attention in recent years and may appeal to those who enjoy luxury sports-style watches or are looking for an approachable entry into vintage watches. The wrist shots show a previously sold example and are provided for reference only.
PRODUCT DETAILS
CONDITION
As a vintage watch, minor scratches remain throughout the case and exterior. However, there are few significant scratches or dents, and the watch is in good overall condition. It has received a light polish limited to removing surface dirt while minimizing changes to the exterior, so minor scratches have intentionally been left in place. The crystal is clean, with no particularly noticeable scratches.
The bracelet remains firm, with very little sagging or stretch, and is suitable for everyday wear. Cracking across the dial is difficult to see with the naked eye, and the dial appears clean at first glance, but cracks are present throughout. Together with the remaining minor scratches, these details preserve the watch’s vintage character.
